A Magical Experience for you and your dog
Our clients have told us that we have provided them a complete experience for them and their dog. It's not a short window of photo shots and rushed time slot - it starts weeks ahead of the day itself, and continues beyond - this is a MIL Pet Photography Experience. Here's what they say.
Loui - Cavapoo from Windsor
From the very first call, Chris was warming and helped me understand the entire process that we could look to expect from the shoot. Full of great information and ideas on how best to capture Loui and his family.
As the day approached, Chris was available to help ensure we were comfortable still knowing what to expect, whilst also encouraging any feedback or ideas from us should we want to include other things.
The day of the shoot could not have gone better, with both Chris and Sue working side by side with our family, helping to reduce any anxiety of it being a photo shoot, to just simply going for a nice walk with friends.
Chris captured so many amazing shots of Loui and us, whilst also considering proposals from our 11 yr old son, who absolutely loved being part of it all.
Seeing the final shots during the sideshow, we just had to have them all. We loved all the various pieces and styles available, but our son loved the photo album the most. The album now sits pride in place in his bedroom.
Chris and Sue offer a unique and personalised experience, and we would consider them for any future shoots, pets or otherwise, and recommend them to all. Thank you both for such a great day!

Dougie - Cockapoo from Ascot
Thank you Chris and Sue for providing such a professional, unique and fun experience.
By a few fun questions Chris and Sue managed to discover a lot about Dougie’s character beforehand and we also had a very good idea what we wanted to achieve due to being sent examples of style of photos to give us ideas. This was extremely helpful.
Dougie took to Chris and Sue immediately they had a lovely way with him and they actually managed to get him to pose on a log- if you knew Dougie you would be impressed!
Viewing the results through a slideshow of images in person after was really helpful and made it easy to see the choices. There was no pressure to buy at any time in the process.
We were presented with our order in a large box with a lovely blue ribbon, such a lovely touch.
We were delighted with the whole experience and would have no hesitation in recommending Mil Pet Photography. Thank you Chris and Sue.

Caoimhe - Golden Retriever from Ascot
Ahead of the day itself, is was useful to see images with suggestions before hand - plenty of ideas there which was helpful.
It was lovely to spend time in ‘playing’ around with Caoimhe - in an attempt to get her focussed…… and there was lots to play with. The woods are a perfect place for us as I like getting back to nature as much as possible. Chris was extremely patient with both Caoimhe and myself! This environment and experience is such a great opportunity to capture the true essence of your dog as they’re relaxed in their natural surrounds.
The images were great - and seeing the differences between her serious side and her playful side was special - although she does look so grown up in some of them. The Large Display Album I selected is incredible and everyone who comes in has to have a look at it - definitely the right decision was made there.
Chris has an easy and relaxed way with you which put both us and Caoimhe at ease - which again means that you get the most out of the shoot. There were some amazing images which are great to have - and I would highly recommend MIL Pet Photography to anyone getting a shoot of their young dog/puppy…… these times don’t last long so getting a permanent record of them is very, very special.

Archie & Otis - Pugs from Ascot
I have 2 pugs and have struggled to get a good photo of them together, especially Otis the black one as he tends to just look like a black fluffy blob on my phone with no definition of his features.
My experience with Chris and Sue was excellent right from the start. Chris called beforehand and took a real interest in my boys and their personalities and likes and dislikes.
He was very friendly and my boys took a liking to him as soon as he walked in the house! Archie the older one struggles with his mobility and Chris made sure the walk we went on for the shoot was manageable for him.
He went to every effort to get the best photos and at one point another dog walker actually came over to check he was okay as he was lying on the ground trying to get the best angle of the boys!
I was so excited to see the photos and I wasn’t disappointed - they were amazing and really showed off their personalities. I absolutely love the pictures I chose and would definitely recommend Chris and Sue to friends and family.

Atlas & Khaos - Labradors from Woking
Having recently worked with Chris and Sue on their Tails of Windsor & Ascot Book I can not recommend them highly enough.
I have two labs - a mad 2 year old called Khaos who lives up to his name, and a reactive 4 year old called Atlas who is very untrusting of people and dogs he doesn't know due to being attacked. Chris knew all about their history and I think it is real testimony to his skill that within 30 seconds of meeting a normal very vocal Atlas adored Chris. This was huge as every positive interaction helps him become more confident so I felt immaterial of the pictures we were already winning.
The photo shoot itself was a huge amount of fun, for the dogs and for the humans and I was blown away when I saw the end results and the pictures.
Chris' photography captures the personality of the dogs perfectly and it was lovely to spend time with Chris and Sue chatting through the photos at the end.
Excellent with dogs, amazing photographer and superb customer service. Thank you both!

Our Session Fees are different to most - we don't have any, and we provide matched digital files at no additional cost !!
No need to pay for a photography session of £100-£250 - we are so confident you'll love our final photographs that we are are prepared to invest our time at no cost. Our clients prefer to have all of their money going towards beautiful dog photography that they can own, so we simply have a non-refundable reservation retainer of £200 to hold a place for your session. We then invest 100% of that reservation retainer back into a £200 Artwork Credit for you to use during your Viewing and Ordering appointment. Please note that no products nor digital files are provided as part of the reservation retainer.
We also provide a digital backup for download sized to match all prints purchased at no additional cost. For example, purchasing a Medium Display Album with 21 images across the 20 pages entitles you to the medium size matched digital file for all 21 images at no additional cost! £549 gets you the Medium Display Album and all 21 matched digital files.
If purchasing only Wall Art, the size matched digital file(s) will also be available for download at no additional cost.
A MIL Pet Photography Experience is normally 60-90 minutes on location session using natural daylight, normally your dog's favourite walk, and perhaps your garden, and results in 20-30 images to choose from, with the final images all Fine Art edited to the level expected of a certified Dog Photography Master.
About Chris & Sue Miller
Photography is our passion, pets are our life. We take quality time to get to know you and your dog, and put you all at ease very quickly. The majority of our work is on-location, using natural light. We are professional pet photographers, specialising exclusively in dog photography.
As part of continuous improvement, we also study animal behaviour. We believe that the better we know the animals we will take photographs of, the more accurately we will capture the pet's individuality and the very essence of who they are. Chris has achieved a Diploma with Distinction in the field of Canine Behaviour Training.
In July 2021, after six months of intense training, examination and certification, Chris became the UK’s first certified Dog Photography Master. He received his formal recognition from Claudio Piccoli, the Dog Photography School’s founder and Master.
In 2023, Chris was awarded his Licentiate from the Societies of Photographers, LSWPP. He also become a multi award winning photographer the same year for two of his "Dogs in Action" photographs.
